Okari Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Okari, a family allowance and chore tracking application operated by Pixel Matrix LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy specifically governs the privacy policies and practices of the Okari mobile application (both Parent and Kids versions) and its associated backend services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for the app and use its services. The personal information we collect includes:

• Account Data: We collect your email address, name, and profile information for authentication purposes. This data is securely stored and managed using Google Firebase.
• Family Data: We collect and store data related to children profiles, chores, transaction history, and savings goals that you enter into the app to provide the core functionality of Okari.
• Usage and Crash Data: We collect non-personally identifiable analytics regarding how you interact with our app (such as crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics) to improve stability.

3. Children's Privacy

Okari includes a companion Kids app designed to be linked to a Parent account. The Parent maintains full control over the creation, management, and deletion of child profiles. We do not independently solicit personal data from children under 13. All data related to children (such as names or chores) is provided directly by the consenting Parent through the Parent application.

4. Subscriptions and Financial Data

Okari offers premium subscriptions. We do not directly collect or store your credit card details or financial information. All purchases are securely processed entirely through Google Play Billing (or Apple App Store) and managed via RevenueCat.

Additionally, Okari is a ledger/tracking application. It does not connect to real bank accounts, and we do not process, hold, or transfer actual financial currency on behalf of users.

5. Advertising

The free tier of Okari may display advertisements via Google AdMob. These services may collect certain device information or advertising IDs to serve relevant ads. Premium users have an ad-free experience, and no ad-related tracking is active for Premium accounts.

6. Will Your Information Be Shared?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services (e.g., third-party payment processors or authentication providers like Firebase and RevenueCat), to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketing or data broker agencies.

7. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures (including HTTPS encryption in transit) designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it. If you wish to delete your account and all associated family data, you may do so directly within the Okari app settings, or by contacting us.
